Bridal Entrance (Music can be played as you make your entrance)
Introduction by Celebrant (Optional) A welcome, followed by the principles of belief surrounding marriage and an introduction sharing how you met or your journey so far as a couple or family. It can be light and breezy or romantic, serious-your choice. I can draft it for you after a discussion.
A Reading (Optional) Your choice of verse or prose, usually non-religious in content.
Monitum by Celebrant (Compulsory legal requirement) I am legally bound to say some prescribed words here.
Giving Away (Optional) (You don’t have to be ‘given away’ if you don’t want to)
The Asking (Optional) A formal question in relation to the Bride and Groom’s intentions to take each other as husband and wife.
Vows (Compulsory legal requirement) There is a compulsory wording for the vows that you are required to repeat by law, but you may also add your own vows to acknowledge your promises to each other.
Exchange of Rings (Optional) To 'seal' the marriage - the exchange of rings.
A Reading (or other ritual/ceremony) (Optional) Your choice of verse or prose or other ceremony.
Declaration (Compulsory legal requirement) Celebrant pronounces you husband and wife.
The Kiss (Optional) You may embrace and/or “you may kiss the bride”
Signing of Register & Certificate (requires two adult witnesses) Some more music is best played here while you sign the legal paperwork.
Introduction of the Married Couple to the wedding guests

All Bride and Groom words will be repeated after the Celebrant unless you prefer to learn them from memory (this is your choice but is not expected or necessary.
